CD holder and a gift tag

Hi friends,
Sharing a CD holder I made for my daughter, a music lover. Her newest rage is the all boys band from UK – ONE DIRECTION. To create the background I distressed a crumpled sheet and then printed musical notes. Supplemented it with coordinating washi tape.

This is the back of the CD holder.

A closer look at the flowers I made…………..wonder whether it’s the photography that did the trick to make them seem so very stunning!! All the same am loving these.

The chip board frame & butterfly are from ITSY BITSY. The shimmering flourish  from PIE LANE.

Some more pics taken from various angles.

Here’s a matching gift tag I made along with this. The flowers are by pie lane and butterfly is a distressed die cut I made.

 A look at the set.

Star pop –up Christmas card book

Hello,
I enjoy quilling n pop up cards enthralled me since I was a child. Here's a Christmas card for a friend combining both these.

Made some quilled Christmas ornaments - snowflake, angel, candle, tree, candy stick, wreath to adorn the card.

Basically all that needs to be done is make five pop up cards as seen here

To assemble  into a star glue the back of the first card to the front of the next n continue for all the five cards. As seen here the front of the first pop up n the back of the fifth will form the front n back of the star book.

Some more snapshots of this card

This is how it looks from above

Distress ink - an attempt

This card is an outcome of my first attempt with distress inks (barn door)

The flowers – the big one & the fringed as well, are handmade by me using marble paper (my daughter’s creation).
