Thank you with Vellum flowers

Happy Monday friends!
I am rather active in Kathy Rac's Daily Marker Challenge this time around & share my coloring on Instagram here. For day 28 I heat embossed some W&W flowers in gold & colored them on the wrong side with gelatos (lemon & tangarine) - refer to the image below.

Here is the card I made using the fussy cut flowers.

Enjoy Your Day

Good Morning!
Today's card uses the same inlaid die cutting technique that I used in the card here. For the rainbow I used the Avery Elle - Chevron bits die to cut card stock in v-i-b-g-y-o-r colors & inlaid it on a black panel. It was a lot of work but fun to put it together! The heat embossed sentiment & enamel dots were perfect to finish the card.

Sending Hugggssss

Hello Friends!
Welcome back!
I used the inspiration picture from Altenew challenge for my card today.

I first created a heat embossed background on black CS using a stamp from the Beautiful day set & colored all the images using Creta color pencils. Next the focal image, a gorgeous bloom & leaves from the same set were heat embossed in blue (Wow EP) & colored with Peerless watercolors. Both the panels were die cut with SSS stitched rectangle dies & glued to a gold foil card base.

Bookmark

Good Morning!
A quick post from me to share a bookmark for which the background was made with peerless watercolors. The W&W blooms (the big, the bold & the extras) were heat embossed in gold to create a background. I loved the subtle water colors peeking through the embossed flowers & decided to color only the leaves.

The sentiment is a PTI stamp.

I have made several bookmarks in the past, you can check them here, here, here & here.

Inlaid Die cut Rainbow

Good Morning!
Having so much fun playing along at Winnie & Walter belated 2nd birthday bash.
Was inspired by Vanessa's rainbow challenge & Mayuri's inlaid die-cutting challenge to make this card.
For the rainbow colors I played with distress inks! The black Whimsy circle just came to life as I replaced the intricate black die cuts with the colored one! Loved this! The sentiment heat embossed THANK YOU is a W&W stamp.

Celebrate Your Day

Hello & welcome to my second post today!
Sharing a card I made keeping in mind the W&W belated 2nd birthday bash.
This card is very different from my style. It is not just a single layer card (and yet has multiple layers) so to say but also the colors used are not the ones I usually work with. Would love to know what you think of it.

For the card I embossed the kraft card base with WRMK embossing folder. The frame is a die cut (about 4 layers) & colored with Chameleon pens. The double layered rose in the same color is is fussy cut. The stamped leaves & sentiment are from W&W.

Added some highlights to the flower & leaves with a gel pen.

The part of the card front within the delicate frame has shimmer (Wink of Stella)

Stenciled Mandala

Good Morning!
Indian Craft Room has a Tic Tac Toe challenge with a very interesting twist to use a mandala.

I started creating my mandala by using a stencil (MFT Concentric circles) & distress inks to get hennah colors. I then went crazy with all the tiny stamps I had, which were never used! I then die cut the panel with SSS stictched rectangle dies. This is the result of stenciling & stamping.

Water Colored Floral Background

Happy Monday Friends!
Its a card share today with a water colored floral background for the Winnie & Walter 2nd birthday bash.
For the background I stamped the flowers & the leaves (Winnie & Walter - The big, the bold & the happy) using color box scarlet & lime inks & heat embossed them using Rangers Holographic embossing powder..........the result was divine!
Used my current fav water coloring medium - Peerless Watercolors to color the stamped images.
The floral background was glued over black card stock, one edge of which was also heat embossed.

Here's a closer look at the coloring & the gorgeous holographic embossing. The sentiment is also a Winnie & Walter stamp (The big, the bold & the extras). I also stamped the images on vellum using color box ink & heat embossed these.

Coffee With Friends!

Hello & welcome back to my blog!
I am guest designing for The Crazy Challenge this month & here is the first inspiration post.
The theme this fortnight is CARD FOR A FRIEND
The Stampendous background stamp was perfect for the card I wanted to make. I stamped this on a stitched rectangle die cut in archival ink & left the rest of the card rather simple. The latte cup (Tim Holtz - Stampers Anonymous) was colored with Peerless watercolors. The pattern paper is from the Prima - Coffee Break pack. Too much coffee, huh!!! A coffee lover that I am, friends & coffee go hand in hand, a good cup of coffee with friends is BLISS!
