Cards for a Cause - Diwali Cards

Hello Friends!

Played around with distress inks to create vibrant colorful backgrounds for DIWALI CARDS. 
 These are also made for a card drive initiative by Neha Gala & Tejal for the INDIAN SOLDIERS. The "Thank you" cards I made for this cause are in the post here.

These DIWALI CARDS which can be used by the soldiers to send to their loved ones!

Letter cum Key holder

Hello & welcome here again!
I love collecting boxes & items that I can use for decoupage. The newest addition is a letterbox cum key holder.
I had an adorable decoupage tissue in my stash from my trip to Bangkok this summer & this mail box was perfect for that. 
Alteration of this MDF started with a generous coat of gesso followed by blue chalk paint & white acrylic. Note sure if you can see but I have tried not to have a solid color but create a distress look. 
I carefully tore the tissue & decoupaged it in the bottom corner. Brought out the colors once again & blended the background with the tissue.
Once I was happy with the outcome I added some crackle texture, stencilling, stamping & other details.
 Here is the final outcome -
