Floral Water Colored Card for a Friend

Happy Monday Friends!
Welcome here again, with a water colored card made for a dear friend.
A simple card with lots of techniques.
The lime & lemony background was made with gelatos & later embossed using the WRMK next level embossing folder.  I later sprayed the background with pearlized mist (kiwi).

The stamped (hero arts large blossom) card front is water colored with peerless water colors & the sentiment(Simon Says Stamp - Friendship messages) is heat embossed.

Can you see the effect of perfect pearls mist here?

Letter Rack

Wishing all my friends in India a very happy & colorful Holi!
Working on masculine projects is always a challenge for me, however, if you have the right papers & embellishments to work with it is not just easy but fun too! Sharing one such decoupage project today - a letter rack.

Decorated the sides using some stamped handmade embellishments & charms -

Magnetic Chopping Board

Hi Friends!
I am here with my second post for Stamplorations. You can check the first post post here & the challenge details here. The sketch for March is this -

Stamps & Textures is the theme this month.

For my project I altered a mini chopping board into a magnetic one!
My project started with a black base coat on the MDF surface. Wanted to add lots of textures here, so gave a coat of crackle medium followed by chalkboard paint. Loved the resulting cracks!

Keeping in mind the theme stamps, I used the Big on Words - Mom digi that Shery sent me as a focal point here.

I then glued a magnetic sheet to the prepared surface & selected a pattern paper with wood pattern for some more textures. The large magnetic rhinestones can hold those little to do notes or reminders. Perfect for the kitchen!

These teapot & spoon charms dangling over a mini handle & blooms were perfect coordinates for the magnetic board!

Easel Shaker Card

Hello All!
Today I am joining as Guest Designer for the 4th birthday celebration at LULUPU.COM, India's leading online craft supply store. Please hop over to the blog for details, you also stand a chance to win some awesome goodies by participating in the birthday challenge & games.
For the inspiration I made a Easel shaker card using the goodies Karuna sent along.
You will find all the details of this card in the blog post here.

While making the shaker part I decided to add a twist to this shaker card by mounting it on another die cut with an ACTION WOBBLE! This was so fun & can we call it the wobbling shaker card?

Guest Designer @Stamplorations

Hi friends!
Sharing a tag I made as Guest Designer for Stamplorations. This card was selected a top pick at the January Challenge. Stamplorations has an amazing collection of stamps & stencils.

This month the theme is -

And this is the sketch.

You can use either the theme or the sketch for the challenge. For further  details please visit the post here

This is the tag I made -

For the background I used gelatos & randomly stenciled whipped spackle for some texture & added holograhic embossing powder over this for some shimmer. The highlight of the tag is a bold stamped sentiment. However, after coloring (with peerless watercolors) the beautiful digi that Shery sent me I decided to mute the stamped sentiment. So I tore a piece of vellum & glued it over this. Made some score lines on the vellum & added color to the distressed edge for added texture.

Here are some close ups of the tag -

Do you notice the holographic shimmer here!

Decoupage Frames

Hello & Welcome here again!
After so many cards I posted in the last few cards, sharing some decoupage frames today.
I am Guest Designing for The Crazy Challenge for a month. You can see my first GD post for them here.
This fortnight the theme is - USE SOME RED.

I altered a MDF LOVE frame using Mod Podge & a beautiful pattern paper.

I highlighted all the borders with black enamel accents & added an adorable MDF laser cut as a focal point & added some shimmer on it with clear Wink of Stella.

Here are some more frames I altered similarly -
