Scrapbook Layout with Bob N Betty "You N I" pack

Hello Friends!
I am back with a scrapbook layout using the latest release from Bob N Betty – “You n I” ………I am in love with this pack! Its color palette of peach, kraft, black and the ultra-trendy periwinkle is such a refreshing change from the usual reds & pinks!
I have used one of the pages from the pack as the base of my layout. For layering my picture I made an envelope also from a sheet in the pack & distressed some more pieces layering.

All the flowers layered together in a bunch here are fussy cut from the collage sheet
The pack also has loads of printed sentiments for cards, albums, layouts

The pastel colors makes  “You N I” pack versatile for all love theme  projects be it Valentine’s, wedding, engagements, anniversary or even birthday.
To purchase this paper pack, go to the sales buddies section of our website, choose a distributor near you and start shopping

Scrapbook Layout

A very good Sunday morning to all.
As promised I am sharing a scrapbook layout, made once again for the swap group in our city. You can view the swap card I posted yesterday here. Thank you so much for your encouraging comments on this. And yes indeed I am lucky to have crafty friends to meet!
In this round of swap hosted by Sharada we had to make LO in bright colors. So here I go.........
Lots of stenciling, distress inks, pattern paper scraps used here.

The birdie MDF colored with markers & a dash of wink of stella.

And here are the pictures of the meet -

L to R - first row - Rupa, Anuja, Me, Prisha (Dr.Sonia's little one)
second row - Sharada, Dr.Sonia, Shilpa, Juhi

This time we had Dr.Sonia & Juhi joining us & Mary Antonia a regular at our meets could not make it this time. We missed you dear.

The awesome layouts made by this talented group.

You will find this in the following challenges -

A Girly Layout

Good Morning!!
Made a very girly layout in pretty pink for my girls & their cousins - an all girls gang of five aged between 11 & 17 years. All they do when they are together is giggle, talk in murmurs lest the mothers (my sis, sister-in-law & me) hear them & click pictures of anything & everything
Here's the LO in soft baby pink with a dash of purple & embellished with all stuff the girls love. The blank space is for the photograph, very difficult to decide which one to use!
Distressed the edge of the 12x12 embossed paper with dusty concord & spun sugar. The corrugated sheet torn from a carton is layered with gesso & added some distress paint for the pink. Had a lot of fun making this LO, but finally I think its a bit too girly. What say?

Started with a sheet of cork I had picked from Itsy Bitsy....................some seed beads & the shiny roses in coral (from a pair of old earrings) & viola............take a look. Also distressed the edges to give it a worn out look. I simply love this & am going to make loads of this for sure.

A Rainy Day Layout

Hello peeps!!
Phew!!!! I managed to complete my entry for For The Love of Crafting Challenge#13.
Currently I live in Bangalore but my roots are in Mumbai. Among the many things I so miss about my home town are food & the rains. Yes, it definitely gets rather messy in the monsoons but I enjoyed watching the rains, through my window whether at work or at home. I also miss all the frequent visits with friends to Lonavala in the monsoon. OMG...........am getting very nostalgic, on a hot summer afternoon in Bangalore (please let the pleasant Bangalore climate make a come back!!! ).
As soon as I read the theme season stories, I knew I wanted to make a monsoon card. I have used the layout at ICR - ISC1 Challenge & the color scheme at Itsy Bitsy's Logo Color Challenge.

Here's the outcome -

A close- up of the picket fence blooming with flowers................isn't the rain all about greenery everywhere?? Don't miss the cute little dragon fly & flower buttons. For the base I used a 12x12 embossed paper & also had a punch to match the embossed swirls in the paper.

The sentiment is hand written &  added a  blue heart shaped rhinestone that I found in my stash & a wooden heart. The intent of the tear shaped bling was to depict rain drops (not sure whether I achieved the desired result though!) & used a doily to make an umbrella.
