Faceted Box

Sharing  a faceted box I made for my DT post for Rinea.

While this may look a bit complicated to make, it is super easy using the envelope punch board. Also by varyinhg the size of the card stock, various sizes can be made in a jiffy.

I am amazed how easily you can put this together with just a little of burnishing & folding. I used the Rinea star struck foiled papers from the Love Foiled Paper Variety Pack & I love the black & red colors.
This makes a perfect favor box for all occasions & I'm sure will be making many more of these soon.

BLOCK CARD

Hello Friends!

Sharing a 3D card which looks difficult to make but is really quick & easy to put together.

For the card base, I have used a kraft colored cardstock & Fuchsia/Fuchsia Starstruck foiled paper. I love this hot pink shade of the foiled paper with stars embossed on both sides.

Though this card looks like blocks put together, it can fold flat & this size easily fits in our standard envelopes when pushed flat. If it is embellished, one can make an envelope box, like the one I made.

Hope I have inspired you to try out this amazingly unique foiled paper.

A GIFT BOX

Good Evening & a happy weekend to you all!
Very pleased to share a upcycled project today, made keeping in mind a few challenges. Take a look at this gorgeous gift box...........

I find myself creating only in monochromes these days (hope I get over it soon!). Any guesses what is recycled here? Well I leave you with the snapshots first & will reveal it only later, am sure you can guess by then. I love stick pins & in this one I have a cute birdie perched atop the pin.

The crochet flower is handmade by my mom, she made many while she was here.

The sides are chipboard pieces distressed with stormy sky ink & layered with die cuts. Glued  embellished wooden clothes pins on both the sides. This one holds a mini Bo Bunny envelope from the Noteworthy collection. Isn't it perfect to hold a cute little message for the recipient?

Making the closure for this was the toughest part! I think now that it is open you all know what this is!

Yes it was a pringles can, inspired by a pin on pinterest. This is how I went about with the upcycling
