Mixed Media Journal Cover

                                                                       Hello Friends!

I am currently enjoying mixed media, thanks to the Finnabair products that came in my LetzCRaft DT kit. The combination of black & metallic colors always enthuse me & the Metallique wax pastes are just perfect for popping the hidden textures in Mixed Media.

Here is the mini journal cover which got a face lift for my post –

The cover base is MDF & the background texture is stenciled (Craftangles – Medieval Mosaic) with Decoart sand paste. I built on the layers & textures & embellished as desired, priming with black gesso at every stage & using Ranger Multimedium to glue the embellishments. The Finnabair Metallique pastes used are – Amethyst Magic & Mystic Turquoise

Bridal Shower Banner

Here today with a bridal shower banner.

Rinea foil papers are available in a variety of packs & colors, however, for this banner, I have used only the silver/gold glossy foil paper & yet absolutely love the simple & classy outcome. I have layered several die cuts on a chipboard base to make it sturdy. 

The glossy banner was extremely difficult to capture on camera, hope the pictures do justice to this beauty!

Twisted Card Tutorial

Hello & Welcome back!

I am back with a card share using Rinea Foils - Ebony/Gold, Lavender/Gold, Ghost Ink, and the Starburst Sentiments. I used these to make a twisted card. Here is a pictorial of the steps -

With the MFT Tag Builder, I die cut multiple elements using the ebony & marigold foil. Using various die cuts I created 8 tags to share today.

The Triangle Challenge

Hello!

Crafty Milka has a very interesting challenge - the maths challenge & I just about managed to submit my entry! 

To add triangles in my card I used distress inks! Seven triangles here in rainbow colors! To pop up the die cut sentiment (Paper Trey Ink die ) I chose the inlaid die cut technique.

Good Afternoon!

September 5th, is celebrated as Teacher's Day in India & I love making cards for teachers. I have been sharing these over the last few days. If you have missed them please go to the posts here, here & here. 

In today's post I share two cards with the same layout with minor changes. 

I have used DCWV pattern papers & die cuts in both. In the first card the copic colored crayons are from the Lawn Fawn stampe & die set - You color my world.

For the second card I replaced the crayons with a fun test tube die cut, which I'm sure any science teacher will love!
