Craft Your Passion#266

Good Morning! So glad you visited again!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
We have a Craft Your Passion#266 live. This week we are sponsored by Di's Digis.

Since it is Anything Goes always, I decided to go CAS this time. I seem to be enjoying making CAS cards! I began with a SSS die cut - Thank you ticket & glued a panel of WRMK - Retro Glam Glamour Glitter to pop up the sentiment. This was then placed on DP (Simple stories - I am) with foam tape & silver thread to jazz it up. I finished this simple stylish card with Ranger white enamel accents.

Here is a close up of the glittery thank you panel.

Note Cards

Hi!
I recently participated in a Friendship Blog Hop hosted by a blogger pal Riti. The theme was to make a set of 8 Notecards with envelopes.
Used my favorite stamp (Penny Black - Tiger Lily) & Chameleon Markers to make the set.

To begin I die cut rectangles (SSS - stitched rectangles) from white card stock & stamped the images. All the images were colored with Chameleon Markers & to add a bit of shimmer I used the clear Wink of Stella. The coordinating colored mats were embossed using Itsy Bitsy embossing folder - Spots.

For the envelopes I stamped the same image in Versamark ink -

Loved the entire set! Colorful, isn't it!!!

Hi & welcome to my second post today :-)!
This is my entry for the Pretty Pink Posh Watercolor Blog Hop

Today's card is similar to the Watercolor Thank you card I made earlier. I have also put together a small tutorial for this technique here. The humming bird is a CLD.

Shaker Card

Hello friends!
Welcome here again!
At Lulupu Challenge#50 the theme this month is Summer Splash. For my DT post I decided to go with the "beach" theme & made a shaker card.

To create the sand texture I added a few drops of Vintage photo reinker to DecoArt Texture sand paste, very happy with the outcome. Do you agree?

The shaker element of the card is the sea. For this I sprayed the piece of CS with LSG starburst Blue Hawaiian Blue & let it dry. I randomly stamped dotted curved to create the waves (Colorbox Aqua). Some adorable sea creatures charms I had in my stash were perfect creatures for the shaker!

Altered Note Book Cover

Hello Friends,

This is my project for Lulupu Challenge#49. You will find all the details for this challenge at Lulupu Challenge #49 : Feminine - Use wings & Colour Palette.
I have an altered mixed media note book cover.

Lots & lots of layers here with stamping, misting & stenciling. The images were stamped on the gessoed surface, in two colors of Archival inks - jet black & vermillion. This was followed by misting with Glimmer mists. To mute down the colors I then added another layer of watery gesso. Finally some stenciling & stamping & my cover was ready! To finish it I stamped "Special Memories" - from the Kaisercraft - All that Glitters set, mounted this on black burlap sheet. The butterfly is also from the same set.

Altered - Tim Holtz Assemblage Clock

Hello Friends!
I'm here with the DT project for Lulupu Challenge#49. You will find all the details for this challenge Lulupu Challenge #49 : Feminine - Use wings & Colour Palette.

I have altered a Tim Holtz Assemblage Clock.

To begin I removed the glass & back panel of the clock & generously primed the surface by sponging gesso (2-3 layers). This lends a grainy texture. After this I colored the clock with distress inks - mowed lawn & salty ocean. The MDF cut outs were coated with mowed lawn distress paint & glued as desired with glossy accents.

I used liquid pearls to add defintion to the frame of the clock as well as the MDF frame.

The little angel (wings) here is from G45 - Sweet Sentiments. The bird perched on the flourish is coated with black soot distress crackle paint.

Glued to the inside of the back panel is a colorful printout of a clock face. Hanging here is also a miniature bird house! I have glued a resin door (colored with vintage photo distress ink) too. A flower under the arch of the door keeps it open , welcoming one & all!

Hanging on one side of the clock bell is a cute wish bottle with a secret message & cute feminine charms.

Here are some close ups of the clock!

Hope you enjoyed todays' project.

Metal Bookmarks

Hello!
If you are paper hoarder like me & cling on to the smallest bit of pattern paper, read on as I share a few useful ways to make the best of the smallest piece!

Made some beautiful bookmarks with cabochons using the left over pattern papers.

Next are some key rings. Played around with alcohol inks on the surface of the acrylic tags. Over the other side are pattern papers!

And this one is a bag tag made similarly! Fun, isn't it? How do you use your valueable scraps? Would love to hear!

No papers used in these bookmarks!
